W. Chan Kim
W. Chan Kim is a world-renowned business theorist and the Boston Consulting Group Chair Professor of Strategy and Management at INSEAD. He is best known as the co-author of the international bestseller Blue Ocean Strategy, which he wrote alongside his colleague Renée Mauborgne. His research focuses on how companies can move beyond traditional Competitive Strategy to create new market spaces.
Before his tenure at INSEAD, W. Chan Kim was a professor at the University of Michigan Business School. He has served as a board member for several multinational corporations and is a fellow of the World Economic Forum.
